Italian footwear fair will have 78 Brazilian brands

Micam Milano, which takes place in Milan between September 15 and 17, will have 78 Brazilian brands

Considered one of the largest shoe fairs in the world, Micam Milano, which takes place in Milan between September 15 and 17, will have 78 Brazilian brands. The promotion of Brazilian participation is by Brazilian Footwear, a program to promote footwear exports maintained by the Brazilian Footwear Industries Association (Abicalçados) in partnership with the Brazilian Export and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil).

The Business Coordinator of Abicalçados, Paola Pontin, who will accompany the action alongside the executive president of the entity, Haroldo Ferreira, points out that the Brazilian group, historically, is top 3 among the largest foreign delegations at the fair. "The green-yellow footwear industry sees, at Micam Milano, not only a great business show, but also an opportunity for brand positioning and prospecting in the international market, mainly in Europe and the Middle East”, she evaluates. With more than a thousand exhibiting brands, Micam Milano receives more than 40 thousand international buyers from about 100 countries in each edition.

The 98th edition of Micam Milano marks the return of the fashion shows of exhibiting brands at the event, a highly successful action that took a hiatus due to the reorganization of the fair after the Covid-19 pandemic. With a fashion curatorship, the shows take place daily with some of Micam Milano's main exhibiting brands, including 11 Brazilian brands - Maithë, Satryani, Piccadilly, Modare Ultraconforto, Voices Culture, Arezzo, Guilhermina, Santa Lolla, Perlatto, Ramarim and Schutz.
